Seriously the worst experience I have ever had with a rental car place. I got there after making my reservation and when I got there and said I was here to pick up the car the guy said, "I don't think we have any cars left." Really? You don't know that? He then went inside and said, "I am sorry we don't have any and then said that happens that you reserve them and then we don't have them." Again, really? What is the point of reserving it then!!!!?? I would never go back to this place. Didn't even have the common courtesy to call and say that they didn't have any cars available. I have a toddler and we drove about 40 minutes to get there. Ridiculous. Didn't even offer any other options. Wouldn't recommend them at all.
If there was a 0 star rating it would be. I was overcharged on my rental plus charged for tolls that I did not use but there was a defective unit in the car. I have been chasing my refund since November 2016 and its still not resolved.

Hertz on Amherst Street may be a very small place, but the staff is always friendly and I've never had a problem securing a rental when visiting family in the area. The staff are all very attentive with smiling, positive attitudes. They let you know what they are doing, and why, every step of the way. For my needs, this location beats the area airport rental locations by a mile.
