Never a dull moment. My car decided not to start this morning and I had to be at a meeting in Burlington Vt at 10AM. I called all the local car rental companies and nobody answered their phone at 630 in the morning. Although Budget didn't answer when I called, Mike did call me back within minutes of my initial call. I told him I had to be on the road by 745 and he informed that his office opens at 730. He offered to pick me up on his way into work but since my wife was home she was able to drop me off on her way to work. All went well and I was able to make it to my meeting on time... As for the car repairs, well that's another story.
Awesome team - I worked with Mike and it was a pleasure. He had my vehicle ready when I arrived and didn't try and force extra coverages on me. (Yes he had some to offer - just not forceful). The vehicle was clean & drove nice while my car was in the shop. The best part was a cousin of mine was under 21 and no one would rent to her. I remembered hearing Mike at Budget tell the girl in front of me he was glad he could help her and it shouldn't be a problem being only 18 and sent her out with her rental. This was perfect so he ended up helping my cousin the same way he helped the previous girl in line in front of me. Great service & they think outside the box by making under 21 rentals available that no one else does at this time. Great Job
Mike is the best! I have had to book a rental through this office twice now and both times the cars were clean, started up and ready for me to drive right out. Even upgraded me this most recent time. Paperwork is always ready and customer service is wonderful. Thank you so much 5 stars for quick, easy & courteous service.
Note carefully if your contract calls for LIMITED MILEAGE and also check if insurance has been added etc before you sign. I had an issue where limited mileage was not disclosed and insurance was charged though I had declined. But thankfully, Mike agreed to adjust the charges. I appreciate the business listening and doing the right thing. Would gladly rent from Budget and this location again, though will be careful in reading the small print.
Mike was great- I needed a long term rental for 2 months and I called around for pricing and Budget had the best deal. This office was very convenient from Derry, only a short 20 minute ride. Mike was able to upgrade me to a Ford Edge for the same price he charged me for a mid size sedan. The entire process from the reservation, pick up and return was painless. I will be calling them again if I ever need another rental.
