So during that time we made calls to see which other rental services could possibly meet our needs, as it turns out Hertz not only would have had the SUV that we wanted, instead of a cramped minivan, and would have accepted debit for the deposit but even ended up being cheaper, but by the time we had found that out the minivan was there, and though they didn't not explicitly say that we would be charged some sort of last minute cancellation fee, some of us were worried that we would be anyways, so we meekly loaded up in the minivan, and picked everyone up, 2 hours late and arrived at our destination 2 hours late.
The car seats were dirty and was told they couldn't get them any cleaner. Most important is that the brakes were pulsating very bad very dangerous in a emergency braking situation. 42,000 miles. The staff at the Nashua NH store are outstanding and should be commended for there prompt and efficient service. Thank you.
This place was impossibly difficult to deal with, they seem to be very loose with their rules and policies, saying that the terms and conditions that you agreed to when renting online, were not their terms and conditions and didn't apply to them.
I had a horrible experience with this agency. I booked a car for my friend, spoke with Customer service that I will come and pay for the car as my friend didn't have a credit card - they don't accept Debit cards. Customer service waived the additional driver fee and noted that on the reservation. I even followed up by calling the location directly and spoke to someone there. I go this location and the girl at the agency told me " you spoke to corporate. We are not aware of what you spoke with them. We will charge an additional $$$$ per day. It is not our policy" I was ready to walk away when another person intervened to help out. It was a hassle, a lot of arguing, which is unnecessary as I have adhered to their laid down protocol. And what is worse, was the attitude and the rudeness. I will never rent from this location again. And Enterprise - please amend your corporate policy - don't make promises you cant keep !!
I had two options to choose. The cars were clean and in good shape. All the people I worked with at this location were great. They followed up after the rental to make sure everything was OK and to go over my bill. Very good operation!
We always rent from Enterprise when going away. This last time we rented a Dodge Charger to go to a wedding. Great price and great service
....we were very late.
We had rented an 8 seat SUV, to be picked up when they opened, but despite their online rental agreement specifically saying that debit was accepted for the deposit, they said that they would only accept a credit card for that vehicle. So we ended up waiting around for 2 hours while they found us an alternate 8 seat mini van, that we could use a normal debit card for the rental and deposit.
I recommend calling around and always grilling an actual person about each company, and each locations policies before renting any car, it feels a little bit like the wild west with some of these places.
