I recently graduated from Rivier with a Bachelor's degree in Nursing and I could not have been more pleased with the education I received from Rivier College. Because it is a small school, I was able to become involved in various aspects of college life and able to form great relationships with my peers and professors.
Outside of classes, Rivier also has a lot to offer. There are various clubs on campus that you can become involved in and many opportunities to do service work. I can honestly say that the entire direction of my life has been changed in a positive way by attending Rivier College.
As a nursing student, you get to see a lot of the same professors throughout your clinicals/classes. By the time you are a senior and have your RN, the nursing faculty treat you as a colleague rather than a student. Nursing classes are hard and they require you to study a lot, but they're not unfair. Nursing professors are always willing to take extra time to explain a hard topic to you and many offer study sessions before tests.
Staff at this college are so rude. They are not their for the students. most of them fell as if they are doing students a favor. They need to understand the students are they customers and should be treated with respect. Department such as business office, fin aid. Housing academic adv are not flexible with students. I had the worst experiences at rivier college.. worst investment I ever made..
