Doreen has been my travel agent for the past 6 years and I wouldn’t dream of planning a vacation without her expertise. Her knowledge of the Sandals properties is extensive and honest, and if she doesn’t know the property personally, she quickly reaches out to her vast network to get that information. She planned a complicated, large, destination family reunion for us that turned out fabulous! It’s not easy to find a property that can please everyone from 4-75 but she did just that! She also keeps me apprised of special deals that might be of interest. Our Bermuda trip was one such deal, and it was one of the best vacations we’ve ever had. Her attention to detail is superb and you can relax knowing that all logistics have been carefully arranged. In the event of the unforeseen; yes, things can go wrong, it is also comforting to know that she is just a phone call away! Vacations are too precious to leave to internet interpretation. Yes, you can book trips on-line yourself, but why risk ruining a hard-earned vacation only to find that the hotel back-ups to a freeway, or that the beach lies just beneath the direct flight path to the airport. Having had very little experience with booking exotic vacations, we went to Vacation Bound just to see if they could help us sort through the millions of options. Within 15 minutes, Doreen had honed in on our needs and made appropriate suggestions for destinations; once that was pared down, she explained the options for hotels etc. Later we had an issue and had to change dates...this did not cause the ruckus we expected, instead Doreen calmly and professionally handled the changes with minimal pain for us.
