The sales are even better than MB. The cashiers are pleasant, friendly and never grumpy. Know what to buy there and on which week the price is at its best and you have a low price tag on your receipt.
I shop here for convenience and ease of finding what I'm looking for. This really isn't balanced out by the higher prices, consistent shortage of cashiers and baggers and total lack of rhyme or reason to when certain things like the salad bar close
The fact that people are always smoking right out side of the enterances is not only illegal it is pretty disgusting. This place needs to designate a smoking area seperate from people who want to buy groceries, especially because the employees are the ones smoking
Very helpful. However shaws truly needs to invest a few dollars into the handicapped motorized carts. I am handicapped and am never able to utilize the necessary tool to help me do my shopping.
Some what of a good place to shop. Really depends on what you buy and rather it's on sale or not and if you have coupons, although certain coupons can't be doubled. Shaws is kinda pricey, and for a person like me who doesn't have a car Shaws is the only Supermarket close by, so having to pay for pricey groceries isn't working i rather go take a bus to Market Basket and pay for much cheaper groceries rather then Shaws some times. But it's more money for a taxi on the way home, that's not good. But i go on line to check out prices and if Market Basket is having more sales then Shaws then it's worth taking a bus to Market Basket to save money.
